Following the recent Union-wide alert on rising cases of depression, anxiety, and panic disorders among young citizens. The Intergalactic Union Department of Education has unveiled the Helios Program — a comprehensive initiative designed to promote mental well-being across all learning institutions.

The Helios Program rests on three foundational pillars, ensuring that the Union’s commitment to its youth is translated into immediate, practical action:

1. Education for Emotional Strength
   New curriculum modules will introduce lessons in self-awareness, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution. Tailored to each developmental stage, these lessons will provide students with the tools to navigate stress and uncertainty.
2. Counselors in Every Academy
   Certified mental health specialists will be embedded directly within schools, ensuring early support and removing barriers to access. By normalizing counseling as a routine service, the Union aims to erase stigma and encourage open dialogue.
3. Integrated Wellness Screenings
   In cooperation with the Department of Health, annual physical checkups will now include structured mental wellness evaluations. Parents and guardians will be invited to participate, creating a collaborative approach to child health.
